Gratis is established in April 2009 and it is one of the most recent subsidiary of Sedes Holding. Gratis is operating as a convenience store retail chain since opening its first store in July 2009.

Gratis is determined to become a leading player in its field. There are currently 4,000 items offered at Gratis, including but not limited to; basic durable daily consumption goods, cosmetics, personal care products, household goods, baby products, snacks and accessories.

Gratis is expand in Istanbul and then into other major metropolitan cities of Turkey such as Ankara and Izmir. The store sizes will vary between 100 sqm and 300 sqm. The growth plan of Gratis is to reach 500 stores within five years.

Gratis is used the German cosmetics and personal care market as our benchmark. The German cosmetics market stands at some 13.5 billion euros, whereas in Turkey it is only 2.5 billion euros. There are some 20,000 cosmetics stores in Germany while in Turkey the number is less than 200. We have a long road ahead
The Gratis product range include 4,000 cosmetics and other everyday personal care items. The products will be both Turkish and imported, as well as Gratis’ own private label.
